Yep, you heard me, your instagram pictures printed not on paper, not on cake, but on ediable marshmallows. Cannot believe that nobody had thought of this wonderful idea sooner. I ordered my boomfs at around 3pm yesterday and they were here ready and waiting this morning. Boomf - by the way - is inspired by the noise the box makes when it hits the floor when they come through the letter box - how cute!

For £12 I think these are brilliant! myself and my housemates were amazed when they arrived! and the marshmallows are genuinley so tasty - ask Daniel, he had some too! which we were worried they would be lacking due to them being printed on. 

For the small asking price, I was suprised at the quality of the packaging and how professional it looked and felt, these little babies would make a perfect gift for anyone. The printing isnt overwhelmingly clear, but they are printing on marshmallows and your box comes with a complimentary copy of your prints just in case!

I'm so glad I came across Boomf and woul'dnt hesitate to order from them again - I recon these could be the next big thing! keep an eye out...

Nars : killing me softly blush palette

This is a bit of belated post, whilst in Paris I dragged Dan around every possible Saphora to try and find the infamous Guy Bourdin One night stand palette however, we had no luck. But I was determined to own a nars blush palette so that I could try out minatures before investing in a full pan size and because of my great experiance with the laguna bronzer, so needless to say the next best thing fell into my basket - enter the killing me softly blush palette.

Let me start by saying I am a sucker for nice packaging and Nars do have the nicest packaging for blushers and bronzers in my opinion and the small mirror inside the compact really comes in handy. In terms of the product I've been using the Orgasm shade the most, the darker shade on the left gets little use as its a little to dark for my pale complexion and the top left is very coral if you like a corally finish. I do really enjoy the albatross highlighter featured in this palette however the section of the palette that holds it is so small its hard to pick it up out of the pan with a normal sized brush. I do think this was a little over priced for the amount of product you get, however its good for trying out different shades before commiting to one daddy sized one!  These are sold out now, but nars always offers these mini palettes, its best to pick one of these up if you are looking for a) a mixture of blushes in one to try or b) your first delve into nars.

One of the themes I've always tried to stick to with this blog reguarding fashion - is affordable style. If your a student like me, and live in a big city, its very easy to walk past the local supermarket. Here in Southampton (central) our biggest supermarket is Asda. Whilst you might pop in for noodles and potatoes its so easy to forget the clothes section. George at Asda have really stepped there game up this spring and there collections are much more tailored to a younger eye. Affordable prices mixed with accessable locations and great quality guarteed always makes for a good steal. I'm always so suprised at the bargains you can pick up! This FULL outfit for just £79 is perfect for a wardrobe update! I can't believe this t-shirt dress combo is just £18, and these on trend boots are certainly student purse friendly at a measley £20. To brighten up the darker colours I've teamed it with some bright orange nails and lips. If you don't like this grey t-shirt and denim dress combo it also comes in black pinafore with pink t! something for everyone here..  Who's on your highstreet hitlist?
