Firstly you would think this is a sponsored post (I wish) it isn't but I was so excited I NEEDED to share this with you all! Being a 32f I have ALWAYS found bikinis impossible to shop for, I don't have a in proportion body as it were so when I buy from regularly highstreet brands I have to buy separate and when it comes to buying swimwear that just comes in sizes and not cups - its a walking nightmare! I've always been told about Figleaves as a great place to shop for women with bigger breasts, but I'd always dismissed it as an older womans' website with a much bigger budget than my own. However the older I'm getting the more important I'm finding it ever more important to invest in a proper fitted bikini. I was browsing Figleaves today and was gobsmacked at the selection of bikinis they had that were right up my street! One of my pet hates on holiday is being around the pool wearing the same newlook bikini as everyone else just me? , I also much prefer a high waisted shape as I don't have a particularly flat tummy and there is SO much selection at the moment. One brand that particularly caught my eye was 'Midnight Grace' they have gorgeous high waisted FASHIONABLE bikinis - I'm in heaven! I'm not sure if I'll be stretching my purse strings to these just yet but the payday before my holiday I might have to sneak some of these in - I felt it was my duties to share these beauties with you!
What bikinis are you loving this summer?

Don't steal my sunshine

Sunglasses - Asos
Necklace - Wanderdusk
Leather jacket - Zara

Converse high tops

I fell in love with this leather jacket the second I saw it, styling wise I'm sticking it with greys, black, white and neutrals, its a really easy way to add a pop of colour to you're wardrobe and its amazing quality for the price! I'm sad that its getting hotter as I know I won't be able to get this out as often as it deserves!

What I got for christmas 2015

Let me start by saying I truly believe the best part of christmas is the time spent with family, and the build up to christmas, the festivities, lights decoration, food and baking. Presents are a tiny added bonus and if I had to pick presents or an extra sparkly merry day off with my family, the second option would win hands down. HOWEVER, I do LOVE routing through all the blogs I follow after christmas (I'm so nosy) I love finding out what goodies everyone got for christmas, so as every sharing blogger starts - this is not a brag - this is just me sharing my gifts with you! Every year I am blown away by how well Dan and my mum know me - I'm always left gobsmacked and feeling like I should have brought everyone more!

My main gifts from my mumma and stepdad! I've been wearing these gold orb earrings non stop since the day I got them, I'm planning on saving this statement clutch for special evenings and occasionally my iPad might grace its presence.

My two half sisters and I all got character slippers for christmas, Dan & I couldn't stop laughing at my unicorn pair, Dan also treated me this new Calvin Klein set I already have the white and wear it all the time, also these beautiful light grey / blue superstars

I think my Lush obsession has became very apparent this year! I have enough bath bombs to last me the year!

Another one of my main presents from my mum was the happiness planner! so excited to start this

Two new scents! I've lusted after the Jo Malone perfume forever, this got a few gasps my side of the family when I opened this on christmas day

I don't remember a year I didn't get lucky and receive the soap and glory set, these are the ultimate in TLC gifts, My main present from my nan was the Charlotte Tilbury K.I.S.S.I.N.G lipstick trio! they are so tiny and cute, my cousins in wales always send me the best mac products!

I am so excited to make more smoothies with my new smoothie maker! Dan's mum and dad got me the yankee candle baby powder candle, it smells devine

And finally the sweet treats I should not be indulging in!

What did you get for christmas this year?

My technicolour coat of dreams : topshop

Hat, coat & jeans : Topshop
Top & bag : Newlook
Boots : Primark

Every winter I lust over a not very practical coat, I never purchase and then I'm left with the ultimate regret of not having a prized purchase. When this coat hit down in Topshop a few weeks ago I knew I had to have it. its beyond lairy, but would you believe its one of the warmest coats I own. I've been wearing this daily and keeping my bottom half very simple and monochromatic to ensure I don't look like a crazy woman! this was definitely an impulse buy - but a worth while one!

chromatic

Light knit, formal joggers - Topshop
Hat, mac, shoes - Newlook
Clutch - Monki

Formal joggers are going to be a firm favorite in my winter wardrobe they are so easy to pair up with heels for a more formal feel, and with trainers they feel really trendy. This was my outfit for model store roll out for Topshop yesterday, I wanted to keep it really minimalist. I'm loving my monchromatics at the moment!

Mustard

Mustard collarless waffle shirt - Topshop
Striped slouch trousers - Topshop
Low block heels - Newlook
Necklace - Vintage (my nans!)
Bag - Thrifted

Can you see a running trend here, now I've started at Topshop my wardrobe is beginning to become full of TS product.. not a bad thing I don't hope. I've really been reaching for shirts lately, it all shapes and guises, and this waffle texture shirt with back detail had me at hello. I usually steer clear of mustard as it always feels like such a here today gone tomorrow kind of trend but I feel like I can warrant some longevity out of this in my wardrobe. These newlook heels I've had for a while , I actually re brought them when my last ones fell apart - I can literally wear these all day and night!

What are you reaching for in you're AW15 wardrobe?

tropical co-ord & hair extensions

Jacket and shorts - Newlook
T - shirt - Bershka
Boots - Newlook
Hat - Newlook
Now that summer is approaching I finally feel like its safe for me to start embracing print again. ESPECIALLY in the form of a two piece. This is the second co-ord I've invested in for the summer, I'm planning to get alot of wear out of this both as separates and together. The best part about a short suit is how formal you can dress it up and by layering a t shirt get it right into you're everyday wardrobe. I've discovered Bershka as a brand lately and have been blown away by their offerings. I paired this 'less is more' slogan tee with the lairy print of my co-ord for abit of irony if i'm honest..
If you didn't already know, I'm in the process of growing my hair! with the thought of a wedding on the horizon and having had short hair for around six years, If I don't do it now - I never will. A couple of years ago cliphair sent me a set of their double weft chocolate brown extensions, and I loved them. However two years on, they've had their day. I opted for the dip dye extensions this time round, and I've been so impressed with their quality and seamless blending into my own hair. I've had numerous comments about how you can't tell these luscious locks aren't my own! I've got two sets - one that I've curled and these which I keep straight. My only advice to you if you have short hair is not to wear these everyday, the weight of the hair leaves me with head aches at the moment as I am still getting used to them, and with the shortest parts of my hair the clips can snap the hair - these aren't a permanent thing for me, but they are helping me grow my pixie crop out!

What have you been experimenting with lately?

wiwt : grunge hearts

Shirt, jumper dress, boots - Newlook
Socks - Tescos
Backpack - Grafea
Lipstick - Rihanna for mac (limited edition)
Please don't tell me you've never posted with messy hair, I do this to my hair quite abit lately - although usually with an extension in to make the bun bigger and better but heeeeeey, were all human! I've been wearing long jumpers a fair bit with long socks or tights with similar sock like qualities. This is quite a grungey outfit post for me, but I'm embracing it. Super comfy over here!

WIWT : Birds

Faux fur, hat, boots - Newlook
Shirt & skirt - Dorothy Perkins
Tights - Primark
Lipstick - Mac 'twig'

I always overlook Dorothy Perkins as a brand but I happened to pop into their sale in Southampton just before xmas and I was shocked by a) how cheap the sale was b) how good the stock in the sale was! I think this shirt was £15 and the skirt was around £10 for a navy PU skirt I think that this was a steal! I've really become a fan of shirts again lately, they really smarten up an outfit I feel. And as for the print on this shirt? well it was a no brainer.

Did you pick up any winter sale bargains?

How to style a two piece : from chavtastic to stylish

Jacket and trousers - Missguided
Backpack - 'Wild at heart' Grafea
T-shirt, hat and shoes - Newlook

Have you spotted that I found an adequate inside location yet? FINALLY. I treated myself to this Grafea back pack from the Oposites attract collection when I got my mini promotion a while back and its been glued to my back ever since... although I'm not sure how long it will stay white for, Its a beauty isn't it?
I brought this two piece from missguided in the sale and when it arrived I was SO intimidated by it I nearly sent it back. By needless to say I think with the right styling jacket and trouser two pieces can look so on trend. If you are thinking about purchasing one, my two main pieces of advice would be to stay clear of wearing them with trainers to avoid the tracksuit look (eeeep!) and use a chunky belt to define you're waist and ensure the trousers look formal. Since styling this up I've really enjoyed it, and I'm looking forward to wearing them separate too!

What pieces have you been trying lately?

A black out

Hat - Peacocks
Roll neck and belt - Newlook
Bag - River Island
Scuba Skirt - Topshop (Sale)
Tights - Primark
Boots - Newlook
Lipstick Kate Moss for Rimmel

Happy 2015 everyone! how late am I? I've been meaning to post for such a long time, I have so many new goodies to share and I feel I really missed the post what you got for Christmas which is a massive bummer! But alas, its 2015 and one of my new years resolution is to blog a hell of a lot more. I've been away for a while as I previously mentioned, I was on visual management cover for Newlook in Southampton for a stretch of 5 weeks, which got cut short when I got rushed to hospital with suspected meningitis, which in the end was luckily just a severe kidney infection and glandular fever - So i spent the beginning of the year bed ridden! I also have some even bigger news - I got engaged! Daniel proposed to me on boxing day whilst we were celebrating my early birthday and it was perfect. I think I'll be scheduling a post all about what happened in the next coming weeks!
To the outfit at hand, I waited for this skirt to drop into the sale for SO long, if you read my blog often I'm sure you are sick of seeing so many midi skirts! but this is scuba and its so fit and flare, it gives you the most flattering silhouette. I've also ventured into roll necks after realising I can balance them out if I wear a trusty hat. I am trying to grow my hair now, so I'm afraid fedoras and floppy hats are here to stay!

How has the start to you're new year been?
