004. Ban.do @ Asos passport holder
005. Sunnylife @ Asos portable radio
006. Ban.do @ Asos luggage label

I've currently only got one holiday booked this year sobs , I'm off to Ibiza with my bestest gal pals for the third time, however this time we are staying in Ibiza Rocks and I couldn't be more excited, I've had extra time to prepare this time so its left me trawling the internet for holiday clothes and accessories. I've needed a luggage tag for my suitcase for a long time so I purchased this one from Asos along with the matching passport holder as my passport is currently wearing away! Sunnylife is the brand responsible for all those amazing pool inflatables and their smaller accessories are pretty cool too, I'm smitten with this underwater camera! how cute?!. Finally, my new favourite shop Typo, is serving up travel accessory royalty, for the necessary items and not so necessary - I'm absolutely grabbing this set of organising bags come payday, finally somewhere to store clothes that need cleaning!

What travel accessories are you treating yourself too this year?

004. Brigette Bikini (Figleaves own brand) : Top £28 High waisted bottom £20

*To find any of these bikinis simply search for the name in the Figleaves search bar

Firstly you would think this is a sponsored post (I wish) it isn't but I was so excited I NEEDED to share this with you all! Being a 32f I have ALWAYS found bikinis impossible to shop for, I don't have a in proportion body as it were so when I buy from regularly highstreet brands I have to buy separate and when it comes to buying swimwear that just comes in sizes and not cups - its a walking nightmare! I've always been told about Figleaves as a great place to shop for women with bigger breasts, but I'd always dismissed it as an older womans' website with a much bigger budget than my own. However the older I'm getting the more important I'm finding it ever more important to invest in a proper fitted bikini. I was browsing Figleaves today and was gobsmacked at the selection of bikinis they had that were right up my street! One of my pet hates on holiday is being around the pool wearing the same newlook bikini as everyone else just me? , I also much prefer a high waisted shape as I don't have a particularly flat tummy and there is SO much selection at the moment. One brand that particularly caught my eye was 'Midnight Grace' they have gorgeous high waisted FASHIONABLE bikinis - I'm in heaven! I'm not sure if I'll be stretching my purse strings to these just yet but the payday before my holiday I might have to sneak some of these in - I felt it was my duties to share these beauties with you!
What bikinis are you loving this summer?

Beauty bucket list

Inspired by the lovely Megans' post earlier in the week on her beauty bucket list I thought I'd share my on-going lust list, full of products that I'm yet to splurge on and that will be purchased in the very near future...

001 Anastasia Dipbrow 'chocolate brown' || With only a select websites stocking this product, I've been weary of  purchasing this because of colour match, however the price point really is'nt that bad and I've been drooling over instagram and pintrest images of the perfect brows courtsey of this product ... this must be next to be added to my stash
002 Zoeva rose gold brush set || I've seen a selection of beauty bloggers vlog and blog about this gorgeous brush set and originally I was lusting after this for looks only, although the more in action videos i've seen of these brushes at work, the more i'm concerned that I need these ... but when can you ever justify over £50 for a set of brushes!?
003 No7 cleansing brush || The vastly popular alternative to the clarisonic my mum battled to find one of these for me at christmas but they sold out everywhere and since stalking since I've found they still don't seem to be back in stock. I'm a sucker for a deep cleanser and I'd love to get my hands on a cleansing brush to give my skin that extra treat
004 Chanel rouge allure || I really do have enough lipsticks in my collection but Chanel lipsticks seem to be above and beyond in the reviews lately, I'm trying to update my collection to more neutral day tones, and a Chanel would be a pleasure to whip out for a top up
005 Ren clarimatte cleanser || I had refused to look at Ren products for a long time because I thought they'd be out of my price range, however I recently investigated this theory and had a pleasent discovery that they are actually really reasonable. This product boasts of many pluses, but I'm especially attracted by the unclogging pores and reducing their apperance promise .. get at me.

What beauty products have you been lusting after?

timepiece lust list

The older I get the more I lust after more long wearing, timeless accesorries. I currently am very lucky to own a Micheal Kors rose gold watch and a white hummingbird Olivia Burton watch, but as of late I just can't seem to keep my eyes off a whole other host of beautiful time pieces!

001. Olivia Burton £75 - statement and unique, I love that Olivia Burton arent that well known yet, keeps people guessing!
002. Marc Jacobs £165 - I've got a black asos watch that has recently broke and I love how simple this Marc Jacobs one is, perfect replacement!
003. Marc Jacobs £179 - One of the only small watches to catch my eye...
004. Marc Jacobs £229 - I've seen a fair few girls with this watch, so beautiful!

Highstreet hitlist : George

Dress & Tee combo - £18 || Bowler bag - £12 || Leather look jacket - £28 || Nail Varnish - £1 || Chunky boots - £20

One of the themes I've always tried to stick to with this blog reguarding fashion - is affordable style. If your a student like me, and live in a big city, its very easy to walk past the local supermarket. Here in Southampton (central) our biggest supermarket is Asda. Whilst you might pop in for noodles and potatoes its so easy to forget the clothes section. George at Asda have really stepped there game up this spring and there collections are much more tailored to a younger eye. Affordable prices mixed with accessable locations and great quality guarteed always makes for a good steal. I'm always so suprised at the bargains you can pick up!
This FULL outfit for just £79 is perfect for a wardrobe update! I can't believe this t-shirt dress combo is just £18, and these on trend boots are certainly student purse friendly at a measley £20. To brighten up the darker colours I've teamed it with some bright orange nails and lips. If you don't like this grey t-shirt and denim dress combo it also comes in black pinafore with pink t! something for everyone here..

Highstreet hitlist 001 : Accessorize

If you are anything after me, I'm always creating mental wishlists and stalking highstreet brands for the latest and nicest new in pieces. I've decided for my own pleasure - and hopefully for some of you too! - to compile 'highstreet hitlists' every week, just to share with you what I'm lusting after in certain shops lately.. This last month I can't stay out of Accessorize! I've literally never shopped there before, but I'm 99% sure I'll be purchasing the Elinor tote when I get paid. I'm also in love with these statement necklaces.. however £22 is a little steep... what do you think?

cosmetics wishlist

My taste in make up seems to be becoming more and more high end lately, I think its because my skin reacts so badly to some highstreet brands and I love the luxurious feeling of a beautiful product, I haven't had a wishlist in a while. But these products seem to keep appearing

001. I swatched the orgasm multiple on my internship at closer and was AMAZED at the finish, I've read so many reviews on this product and I want NEED it so bad. However I think its going to be a christmas / birthday list go'er as £30 for makeup is way out for me right now!
002. I've remained faithful to Rimmel's trust eyebrow pencil for SO long now, but I'm recently reaching for powder and wax more, I'm dying to try this cult product out for myself, but its ALWAYS sold out
003. I'm after this after seeing Millie Mackintosh reveal it as one of her glowy skin staples in this video on feel unique. I still haven't found a highlighter I'm 100% happy with and I'm thinking this could be the answer
004. Again another product from that Millie video. I really don't pay enough attention to my skin, I love the fuss free approach of this product just apply and go
005. This is another product I swatched during my time at Closer and couldn't believe the results. I really want to try out a liquid bronzer...
006. And finally every girls dream. I have a YSL I have Mac's a-plenty, but I feel my collection is incomplete without a Chanel edition. This is 'coromandel', and I've not seen/heard one complaint or seen one person who couldn't pull it off! come to mumma!

What cosmetics have you been lusting after recently?

The weekly want #002

- This is influenced by you Islay!

I've got right back into wishlists again, seeing as my bank account is firmly on zero and my mental shopping basket is bursting to the brim. I think this Wellington watch is going to remain on here until I get one, along with a white DKNY one, I've become quite the covert for expensive watches as of late. I'm also loving printed camis right now, so cute! I'm hating on Islay for showcasing this watermelon one on her blog last week, now I'm desperate to own it, and as for cosmetics, what don't I want right now, The laguna and deep throat duo was pure genius, at £30, I can't even dream of purchasing this. Hurry up December and my 21st birthday!

iPad case wishlist

If you follow me on instagram you'll know that I recently indulged in a white iPad mini, thanks to the invention that is the argos card, I've got my mitts on a 16gb model for just £3 a month to insure it against pretty much everything, and aslong as I pay the full amount by 12 months, I'll pay no interest atall - believe me I've read the small print and quizzed the phone operator, I even got £20 off with my argos card which meant it cost me just £249 (wifi only) and after I'd brought it, I was given a £20 argos voucher for purchasing a tablet! Giving stuff away they are! Anyways, like any new purchase, I'm always looking to accessorize. Currently mine just has the official Apple iPad cover and a pink back to keep it nice and protected but I'm desperate for some girly prettiness on my little tablet now! These are a few of my faves, I'm surprised by how nice the accessorize ones are, and as for the Mulberry? well a girl can wish right?

What gadget accessories have you brought recently?

Abit of an apology from me lovely ladies! I've been so busy with university work, finding internships and working at Republic I seem to have deserted my little bit of interweb space, I have a few OOTDS ready but I need to find time when myself and Luke are free to take them - I don't want to do mirror pictures! I've also got some makeup bits coming up and I PROMISE I will do that MAC lipstick video. *slaps hand* Here are a few bits I'm HEAVILY lusting after. I've got a summer of working and no holidays/festivals ahead, which means I should be able to save up for some nice things..

I swear I am obsessed with the military trend at the moment. I know that everyone and their mother is after this coat but I cannot resist and I need it for my winter wardrobe, Nike blazers have been on my wish list for a while and these acid wash jeans are the only jeans I've tried on in a long while that fit nicely and don't make me feel like a whale! Oh pay day, hurry hurry!

Freshers Fashion

Photobucket

one // two // three // four

After seeing Lizzie's post about freshers dresses it got me panicking! I'm just about to go into my second year of uni and freshers fortnight is HUGE in Southampton, and of course every girl wants new outfits for big nights out!

The first dress is from Miss Selfridge's and I've been after a knicker dress for ages, I need to try this on incase its see through though, I'm loving brands embracing pastels for a/w - I never thought I'd see it.

Secondly a stud embellished number from Glamorous which we stock at work. Everything is right about this dress - dip hem, studs and light weight. PERFECT for dancing.

The last two are from River Island and slightly on the pricey end of the budget. Body con is super flattering and I love the gold detailing in this one, the colour of this one is superb! Bring on payday! What outfits are you planning for your freshers?

Expensive taste in timepieces...

When I was younger I never really understood the fascination with having a nice watch, it probably had something to do with me not being able to tell the time for an overly long amount of time – I have dyscalculia – but as I’ve got older I’ve began to notice the appeal of a nice looking watch more and more, a permanent classy accessory and of course with a use as appose to a bracelet just there for show. I remember the big trend of toy watches and I brought my ex boyfriend one; however they never really appealed to me. My friend Jade introduced me to Michael Kors watches a while ago and they’ve grown more and more on me ever since, it’s strange how when browsing through watches you find such similar styles by different brands, in this case I’m really attracted to Kors, DKNY and Armani. These don’t have a lot of difference in price, but heres a list of watches I’d be more than happy to be sporting on my wrist! I’ll probably be asking for one of these for Christmas/birthday … hey its better to be prepared right?! I think its clear to see the style I like!..

Photobucket

001 Armarni Exchange @ H Samuel £179.00
002 DKNY Rose gold plated watch @ H Samuel £179.00
003 Michael Kors ‘Jet Set’ watch @ House of fraser £199.99
004 Michael Kors ‘Round case watch’ @ House of fraser £219.00
005 DKNY Rose gold bracelet watch @ H Samuel £199.00
006 Michael Kors ‘Round case watch’ @ House of fraser £209.00
007 DKNY Streensmart @ House of fraser £239.00
009 DKNY rose gold bracelet watch @ @ H Samuel £275.00

Do you own any DKNY, Micheal Kors or Armarni exchange watches? What is your opinion on expensive watches? Are they worth it?
