Don't steal my sunshine

Sunglasses - Asos
Necklace - Wanderdusk
Leather jacket - Zara
Bag - Zara
Dress - Primark
Converse high tops

I fell in love with this leather jacket the second I saw it, styling wise I'm sticking it with greys, black, white and neutrals, its a really easy way to add a pop of colour to you're wardrobe and its amazing quality for the price! I'm sad that its getting hotter as I know I won't be able to get this out as often as it deserves!

tropical co-ord & hair extensions

Jacket and shorts - Newlook
T - shirt - Bershka
Boots - Newlook
Hat - Newlook
Now that summer is approaching I finally feel like its safe for me to start embracing print again. ESPECIALLY in the form of a two piece. This is the second co-ord I've invested in for the summer, I'm planning to get alot of wear out of this both as separates and together. The best part about a short suit is how formal you can dress it up and by layering a t shirt get it right into you're everyday wardrobe. I've discovered Bershka as a brand lately and have been blown away by their offerings. I paired this 'less is more' slogan tee with the lairy print of my co-ord for abit of irony if i'm honest..
If you didn't already know, I'm in the process of growing my hair! with the thought of a wedding on the horizon and having had short hair for around six years, If I don't do it now - I never will. A couple of years ago cliphair sent me a set of their double weft chocolate brown extensions, and I loved them. However two years on, they've had their day. I opted for the dip dye extensions this time round, and I've been so impressed with their quality and seamless blending into my own hair. I've had numerous comments about how you can't tell these luscious locks aren't my own! I've got two sets - one that I've curled and these which I keep straight. My only advice to you if you have short hair is not to wear these everyday, the weight of the hair leaves me with head aches at the moment as I am still getting used to them, and with the shortest parts of my hair the clips can snap the hair - these aren't a permanent thing for me, but they are helping me grow my pixie crop out!

If you are prepping you're wardrobe for summer - You need to grab yourself a shirt dress pronto. The perfect piece for season changes as you can pair them with tights and go bare leg in the near summer. For the curvier woman go for a pulled in style with belt detailing and for those blessed with a slim frame oversized shirt dresses are great for a easy to throw on outfit. Shirt dresses are being stocked in the highstreet by the truck load! Grab yourself a floppy hat and some chunky sandals for an easy trend friendly outfit.

The long shirt : winter wardrobe update

Shirt, boots, necklace, hat - Newlook
I know, I am a walking, talking Newlook advertisement lately. This shirt came in yesterday and I brought it in a size 16 just to make sure it was extra long to wear as a dress. Long line shirts are becoming really popular lately and are so flattering oversized. I'm planning to update my wardrobe with some plain versions ASAP. I've also ventured into necklace groups lately, they are making a really welcomed update to my usual statement necklace style.
What have you been wearing into winter?

I have nothing to wear

Jumper, trousers, shoes & hat - Newlook
Heart clutch - H&M
Lips - MAC 'Riri woo'

I have found a type of jumper I can wear! Horray. I'm really suprised how great the quality of these trousers are - I'm hoping to grab these in maroon and grey in the next couple of weeks too. Im trying to change my style just recently, and trousers are something I really want to embrace. I appologise for my hat - again. Its just a thing for me right now, ha. ALSO, any girls who have wider feet at the front - such as myself, these are the only strappy little heels I have found that my feet don't hang out the side of - and that are comfortable! so all around this post is celebrating some newness in my wardrobe haha.
What have you been embracing wardrobe wise lately?

Skirt, socks, shoes, belt - All Newlook

Well hello there again my little space on the interweb *brushes cobwebs from corners of its fashion o'clock* its that time where I would appologise for lack of posts again, but unfortunatley it has come to my attention that I am not a full time paid blogger - I am a paid full time something else and that for the moment is taking priority.
HOWEVER, if you have been pondering where my face has been, some big changes have been happening in my neck of the woods, for one I finished university! I have passed with a 2:1 which I am over the moon about and I graduate in november - cue melt down looking for perfect grad dress - I've also moved back to Kent temorarily and moved in with my nanny :) whos wonderful garden/house you can expect to see floating around in my photographs AND I am currently working full time as a visual merchandiser for Newlook in London Oxford circus store - EEEEE! I'm loving my new position and even the 4am wake up calls are seeming worth it. Its all upwards from here guys!
Anyway.. on the outfit front, I've been trying to pluck up the courage to sport a full a-line midi for a while now, and I found this at work and fell in love, if you have big hips like myself, a-lines are 100% the way forward, this outfit is so comfortable honestly. Expecting to ootd repeat this alot...
How are you all!

Gratitude Geometric style

Crop top - £1 Newlook (Sales yonks ago!)
Skirt - £16 Republic
Converse - Office
Necklace - Topshop
Bracelets - International
Grumpy expression - my own

Hello lovely people, I titled this post gratitude geometric style mainly because I'd like to thankyou for sticking around despite my lack of posts! I'm not going to delve into whats happening in my world right now, lets just say its a little more than I'm used too, however I do want to get back into my little blog to escape, I hope you'll stay!

I got a new job today, I'm going to be a concession visual merchandising specalist and supervisor, something I'm really excited about, as I'm basically a one man team and get to do all my own ordering for deliveries, merchandise my stock, and really get to put my hand to something. Republic Southampton closes on the 24th August and I'm gutted, but as they say one door closes another opens!

ANYWAY. I brought this skirt from work on a whim a c ouple of weeks ago and I adore it. Being a super hippy girl its hard to find flattering midis - sticking to patterns always seems to save me and the quality of this skirt making it super clingy make it a winning piece in my wardrobe! I may have to do a 3 ways to wear in the near future!

I've still not got used to shooting in my surroundings so please bare with! I may venture outside tomorrow, location always was my fave!

What have you been updating you're wardrobe with lately?
I've missed you all!

Monochrome mango

Striped silk shirt - £10 Primark
Orange, gold and chrome necklace - £5 Newlook
Disco pants - £30 River Island
Black canvas vectras - £20 Topshop

Lipstick - Bourjours Rouge edition '10'

Monochrome has been everywhere over the SS '13 catwalks and I've been dying to get involved in the action so needless to say when I saw this silk t shirt in Primark I snapped it up. Its the same silky material as the Topshop polka dot one at over half the price - however it does come up really small so I got a 14 in this if your looking to grab one. I also discovered I can just about pull off orange lipstick! this statement necklace and Bourjours lipstick have became quite the duo in my wardrobe!
Apologies with lack of posts recently! Uni and blogging don't go so well!

Have a lovely week!

Mini Haul

My student loan came in last week and once I'd paid my halls rent, 2 months’ rent for my new house in advanced and done a big old food shop I decided to treat myself on payday OH and because I happen to have bagged a new job guys! I'm now a sales assistant at Republic, going practically full time over summer! I'm so happy, I've wanted a job in retail for SO long now and words can't express how much I'm looking forward to starting this new job. Southampton had the Westquay student lock in this week so I took advantage of that and then when I received news of my new job myself and Luke went and did a little Primark haul in celebration! I've also made £40 off of Ebay, my motto is sell old clothes to afford new and its working well so well - so money wise I'm doing well right now. Heres my purchases over the last few weeks for you! Apologies for lack of posts I've came down with the flu on top of 3 deadlines! So bare with me :)
