Don't steal my sunshine

Sunglasses - Asos
Necklace - Wanderdusk
Leather jacket - Zara
Bag - Zara
Dress - Primark
Converse high tops

I fell in love with this leather jacket the second I saw it, styling wise I'm sticking it with greys, black, white and neutrals, its a really easy way to add a pop of colour to you're wardrobe and its amazing quality for the price! I'm sad that its getting hotter as I know I won't be able to get this out as often as it deserves!

Leopard print

Sunglasses - Depop
T shirt - Newlook
Slip dress - Primark
Belt - Asos
Bag - Zara
Boots - Newlook

Slip dresses with t - shirts tucked underneath are something I've wanted to try for quite a while now, this little beauty was a steal from Primark, I think it was around £6 ! I'm still not ready to embrace flip flops so I'm sticking with trusty boots for now, I also can't apologise for my hair ... it's too hot!

Have a good week!

Superstar

Vest, jeans and sunglasses : Newlook
Waistcoat : Cameo Rose
Trainers : Adidas Superstars
Bag : F&F

You know when you just fancy a real treat? not a thrifty Primark splurge but a real satisfying buy - these superstars were that for me. If you live / work / reside in London you'll have probably seen superstars everywhere and I've succumbed to the trend ever since Pharrell launched his multi coloured beauties I've had my eye on a pair - unfortunately i rarely invest in anything other than black or white footwear (so that i can wear it all the time) so no bright coloured numbers were meant to be. Then the plain white made my feet look really bulky .. THEN I ventured into office on my lunch break and as soon as these were on my feet they were mine. I've been experimenting with trainers in outfits alot lately as there so comfy for work. This is my most fave combination so far.

What footwear have you been lusting after?

wiwt : sully inspired

 Fur jacket - Choies.com
Jumper - Anita & Green @ Newlook
Necklace - Topshop
Hat, wet look leggings and boots - Newlook
Lipstick - Rihanna for Mac (Limited edition)

I'm going to claim this outfit as a Sully from monsters inc inspired master piece because of the fur and colours in the jumper aha. Dan actually complimented me on this outfit yesterday (which is rare lol) which is why I decided to share it despite it being quite dressed down. Anita & Green is a label lounge brand at Newlook and I've really been enjoying the bits that have landed in store. I brought it oversized and paired with really fitted leggings to ensure a flattering silohette! I'm really enjoying mixing black textures too e.g. the wet look leggings with the patent boots - I just feel like it adds another dimenson to the outfit and I really want to experiment with this in the new year!

How to style a two piece : from chavtastic to stylish

Jacket and trousers - Missguided
Backpack - 'Wild at heart' Grafea
T-shirt, hat and shoes - Newlook

Have you spotted that I found an adequate inside location yet? FINALLY. I treated myself to this Grafea back pack from the Oposites attract collection when I got my mini promotion a while back and its been glued to my back ever since... although I'm not sure how long it will stay white for, Its a beauty isn't it?
I brought this two piece from missguided in the sale and when it arrived I was SO intimidated by it I nearly sent it back. By needless to say I think with the right styling jacket and trouser two pieces can look so on trend. If you are thinking about purchasing one, my two main pieces of advice would be to stay clear of wearing them with trainers to avoid the tracksuit look (eeeep!) and use a chunky belt to define you're waist and ensure the trousers look formal. Since styling this up I've really enjoyed it, and I'm looking forward to wearing them separate too!

What pieces have you been trying lately?

A black out

Hat - Peacocks
Roll neck and belt - Newlook
Bag - River Island
Scuba Skirt - Topshop (Sale)
Tights - Primark
Boots - Newlook
Lipstick Kate Moss for Rimmel

Happy 2015 everyone! how late am I? I've been meaning to post for such a long time, I have so many new goodies to share and I feel I really missed the post what you got for Christmas which is a massive bummer! But alas, its 2015 and one of my new years resolution is to blog a hell of a lot more. I've been away for a while as I previously mentioned, I was on visual management cover for Newlook in Southampton for a stretch of 5 weeks, which got cut short when I got rushed to hospital with suspected meningitis, which in the end was luckily just a severe kidney infection and glandular fever - So i spent the beginning of the year bed ridden! I also have some even bigger news - I got engaged! Daniel proposed to me on boxing day whilst we were celebrating my early birthday and it was perfect. I think I'll be scheduling a post all about what happened in the next coming weeks!
To the outfit at hand, I waited for this skirt to drop into the sale for SO long, if you read my blog often I'm sure you are sick of seeing so many midi skirts! but this is scuba and its so fit and flare, it gives you the most flattering silhouette. I've also ventured into roll necks after realising I can balance them out if I wear a trusty hat. I am trying to grow my hair now, so I'm afraid fedoras and floppy hats are here to stay!

How has the start to you're new year been?

I have nothing to wear

Jumper, trousers, shoes & hat - Newlook
Heart clutch - H&M
Lips - MAC 'Riri woo'

I have found a type of jumper I can wear! Horray. I'm really suprised how great the quality of these trousers are - I'm hoping to grab these in maroon and grey in the next couple of weeks too. Im trying to change my style just recently, and trousers are something I really want to embrace. I appologise for my hat - again. Its just a thing for me right now, ha. ALSO, any girls who have wider feet at the front - such as myself, these are the only strappy little heels I have found that my feet don't hang out the side of - and that are comfortable! so all around this post is celebrating some newness in my wardrobe haha.
What have you been embracing wardrobe wise lately?

Bogey green

Slogan designer tee - Missguided
Skirt - Missguided
Pumps - Primark
Choker - Depop
Hat - Newlook
Belt - Newlook
Rule number one when taking blog photos.. don't take them at sunset when your tripod and camera are present in every shot.. oh well! I'd finished work, walked home and wanted to shoot this really quick. The model slogan tee's have been around for ages, but I never really went for one as I'm not a massive supermodel fan - however this tee really appealed to me. Thought it would be nice to share with you all a more casual way to wear a full midi. Seeing as were having such funny weather at the moment these skirts are such a perfect transitional piece. What have you been wearing lately ?

Mary Poppins, Hello and changes

Fedora - H&M kids
Necklace - Rome @ Newlook
Crop top - Cameo Rose
Skirt, socks, shoes, belt - All Newlook

Well hello there again my little space on the interweb *brushes cobwebs from corners of its fashion o'clock* its that time where I would appologise for lack of posts again, but unfortunatley it has come to my attention that I am not a full time paid blogger - I am a paid full time something else and that for the moment is taking priority.
HOWEVER, if you have been pondering where my face has been, some big changes have been happening in my neck of the woods, for one I finished university! I have passed with a 2:1 which I am over the moon about and I graduate in november - cue melt down looking for perfect grad dress - I've also moved back to Kent temorarily and moved in with my nanny :) whos wonderful garden/house you can expect to see floating around in my photographs AND I am currently working full time as a visual merchandiser for Newlook in London Oxford circus store - EEEEE! I'm loving my new position and even the 4am wake up calls are seeming worth it. Its all upwards from here guys!
Anyway.. on the outfit front, I've been trying to pluck up the courage to sport a full a-line midi for a while now, and I found this at work and fell in love, if you have big hips like myself, a-lines are 100% the way forward, this outfit is so comfortable honestly. Expecting to ootd repeat this alot...
How are you all!

Birthday outfit

Dress - Vera & Lucy
Hat - eBay
Gillet - Boohoo Boutique
Tights - Primark
Boots - eBay
Lips - Mac 'Vegas Volt'

I recentley celebrated my 21st birthday! yay, happy birthday to me. I was away with my boyfriend in Paris for the actual day (pics to follow I promise) so my family decided to throw my birthday celebrations two days early on boxing day. My mum has the best taste, and this amazing graphic print dress and cosy gillet were two of my twenty one presents for my birthday! very lucky girl indeed. I am a complete sucker for a good t shirt dress, so easy to dress up and most importantly dress down. You might also notice a change in my photos, I got a new lense for my DSLR. Were just getting to know one another, my little brother took these and I'm loving the depth of field I can achieve!
One of my new years resolutions is to post more, but I will appologise - third year of a fashion degree is HELL, as I'm sure many of you can agree! bare with me - i'm still here - thanks for sticking around for the ride!

twinkle twinkle little star

Gilet - Primark
Tee - Oasis
Necklace - Republic
Skirt - Oasis
Boots - eBay

This outfit is very Oasis heavy, since working there I've really started to appreciate the quality and textures of their clothes. I actually wear this outfit casual and for work, its quite dressy but you could tone it down with pumps and the gilet helps to bring it to a more day time look. I love AW fashion, all the sparkly fabrics come out again!

OOTN : Melons

Crop top - £10 River Island (Sale, Old)
Belt - £3 Primark
Skirt - Homemade!
Clutch - Primark
Heels - £29.99 Glamorous
Earrings - Aldo

I don't often feature night time outfits on my blog, my nan made me another skirt and this time I thought I'd dress it up to show you guys. I love homemade clothes, I always get so many comments asking when I find my pieces and I feel so proud telling them that my nan made them for me, when I move home for a while next year learning how to sow properly - It is on my bucket list!

A fail safe way to dress up any outfit in my opinion is introducing black and metalics or metals, they give every outfit such an edge!

P.s I CAN'T walk in these shoes

Gratitude Geometric style

Crop top - £1 Newlook (Sales yonks ago!)
Skirt - £16 Republic
Converse - Office
Necklace - Topshop
Bracelets - International
Grumpy expression - my own

Hello lovely people, I titled this post gratitude geometric style mainly because I'd like to thankyou for sticking around despite my lack of posts! I'm not going to delve into whats happening in my world right now, lets just say its a little more than I'm used too, however I do want to get back into my little blog to escape, I hope you'll stay!

I got a new job today, I'm going to be a concession visual merchandising specalist and supervisor, something I'm really excited about, as I'm basically a one man team and get to do all my own ordering for deliveries, merchandise my stock, and really get to put my hand to something. Republic Southampton closes on the 24th August and I'm gutted, but as they say one door closes another opens!

ANYWAY. I brought this skirt from work on a whim a c ouple of weeks ago and I adore it. Being a super hippy girl its hard to find flattering midis - sticking to patterns always seems to save me and the quality of this skirt making it super clingy make it a winning piece in my wardrobe! I may have to do a 3 ways to wear in the near future!

I've still not got used to shooting in my surroundings so please bare with! I may venture outside tomorrow, location always was my fave!

What have you been updating you're wardrobe with lately?
I've missed you all!

Tie dye cut out dress - Topshop
Skull print midi - Internacionale
Skull necklace - Topshop
Spike bracelets - Internacionale
Cuff rings - River Island
Socks - Topshop

Denim jacket - Thrifted

Aw :( pictures from my old house! this was just as the weather was heating up a couple weeks back!
I adore this cut out from Topshop that I picked up last year but its not the kind of thing you can wear anywhere but holiday - however I seem to have found a solution. I actually really enjoyed wearing this. it was really comfy and I felt super stylish!

How do you layer your outfits in this weather?
