Urban Outfitters : 'Twinkle'

Urban outfitters 'Twinkle' £6
Being honest I should have picked a different nail varnish to coat this over but I was far to excited to wait! 'Twinkle' Is a top coat glitter nail varnish. It is clear with tiny flecks of silver glitter and enhanced by bigger holographic stars in blue, pink and silver. Application wise you do have to dig and blob the stars on as they don't come straight out on the brush and you will 100% need a top coat to make sure the stars don't get caught on things and fall off. Never the less a gorgeous varnish!

Which Urban Outfitters nail varnishes do you like?

Military must haves

Photobucket

I swear I am obsessed with the military trend at the moment. I know that everyone and their mother is after this coat but I cannot resist and I need it for my winter wardrobe, Nike blazers have been on my wish list for a while and these acid wash jeans are the only jeans I've tried on in a long while that fit nicely and don't make me feel like a whale! Oh pay day, hurry hurry!

P.s I have just got a new job! in addition to being a sales assistant at Republic I am now a jewellery merchandiser for Republic & Superdrug in Bournemouth - things are finally looking up!

Whats on your wishlist?

How much is your face worth?

This tag post has been doing the rounds for a while now, so I thought I'd have a go as my day to day make-up is nearly the same apart from lipstick and blush combos! I've linked the cosmetics and prices when possible..

Visual Merchandising : Republic of Bristol Cribbs

This Tuesday I was lucky enough to be chosen to head over to Republic's brand new Bristol Cribbs store to do some visual merchandising with my assistant manager and another sales assistantThis was a MASSIVE step for me, as I'm constantly trying to progress and learn more within my job.
Visual merchandising is basically the development and presentation of floor plans, displays and mannequins to highlight key products and draw attention to outfits, features and their benefits. The purpose being to attract and encourage customers toward making a purchase.
Bristol Cribbs opened just over a week ago and were top of the table for sales in our area, which meant stock was low and staff were rushed off their feet, so in we came to give the store some much needed TLC under the watchful eye and leadership of Jo Beever.

Here are some photographs I took through out the day of our 'merching and some of my favorite parts of the store. It really is a beautiful space and the stock is gorgeous!

What do you think of our visual merchandising? Have a lovely week!

Freshers Fashion

Photobucket

one // two // three // four

After seeing Lizzie's post about freshers dresses it got me panicking! I'm just about to go into my second year of uni and freshers fortnight is HUGE in Southampton, and of course every girl wants new outfits for big nights out!

The first dress is from Miss Selfridge's and I've been after a knicker dress for ages, I need to try this on incase its see through though, I'm loving brands embracing pastels for a/w - I never thought I'd see it.

Secondly a stud embellished number from Glamorous which we stock at work. Everything is right about this dress - dip hem, studs and light weight. PERFECT for dancing.

The last two are from River Island and slightly on the pricey end of the budget. Body con is super flattering and I love the gold detailing in this one, the colour of this one is superb! Bring on payday! What outfits are you planning for your freshers?
