chromatic

Light knit, formal joggers - Topshop
Hat, mac, shoes - Newlook
Clutch - Monki

Formal joggers are going to be a firm favorite in my winter wardrobe they are so easy to pair up with heels for a more formal feel, and with trainers they feel really trendy. This was my outfit for model store roll out for Topshop yesterday, I wanted to keep it really minimalist. I'm loving my monchromatics at the moment!

London College Of Fashion ; street style photos

Shirt & tights - Primark
Skirt - Choies
Boots & Socks - Topshop
Bag - Monki (Via asos)
Leather jacket - Miss Selfridge
Hat - Newlook

A couple of weeks ago I was grabbed by a couple of girls from the London College of Fashion who were taking street style photographs and they were kind enough to send me a copy of them, lucky me for not needing to shoot this outfit myself. I have only just discovered the Choies website and I have another item I need to blog about ASAP - but I'll save that as a surprise ;) although waiting for the postage was long I could not be happier with the items I recieved. This oversized dog tooth print really screamed out at me, its so bold and looks great toned down with plainer garments such as the shirt I'm wearing here. As promised, I don't think these full a-line skirts will be leaving my body anytime soon .. along with my hat obsession for that matter!

I have nothing to wear

Jumper, trousers, shoes & hat - Newlook
Heart clutch - H&M
Lips - MAC 'Riri woo'

I have found a type of jumper I can wear! Horray. I'm really suprised how great the quality of these trousers are - I'm hoping to grab these in maroon and grey in the next couple of weeks too. Im trying to change my style just recently, and trousers are something I really want to embrace. I appologise for my hat - again. Its just a thing for me right now, ha. ALSO, any girls who have wider feet at the front - such as myself, these are the only strappy little heels I have found that my feet don't hang out the side of - and that are comfortable! so all around this post is celebrating some newness in my wardrobe haha.
What have you been embracing wardrobe wise lately?

Neon Pop

Maxi dress - £10 SALE Republic (Last year)
Sheer bomber - £14.99 H&M
Neon spike necklace - £4 Primark
Neon pumps - £5 H&M SALE
Sunglasses - Newlook (OLD)
Bag - eBay

I told you I had another cheeky bomber jacket lined up didn't I! I adore this one ALSO from H&M! I've worn this on nights out and in my daytime wardrobe, its so lightweight, I can actually fold it into my clutch bag! I think everyone's embraced the monochrome trend and used a bit of neon to jazz it up. What could be cheaper than this statement necklace and sale pumps! I took these a couple days ago - fingers crossed the weather stays nice now!

How have you been rocking the monochrome trend?

Monochrome mango

Striped silk shirt - £10 Primark
Orange, gold and chrome necklace - £5 Newlook
Disco pants - £30 River Island
Black canvas vectras - £20 Topshop

Lipstick - Bourjours Rouge edition '10'

Monochrome has been everywhere over the SS '13 catwalks and I've been dying to get involved in the action so needless to say when I saw this silk t shirt in Primark I snapped it up. Its the same silky material as the Topshop polka dot one at over half the price - however it does come up really small so I got a 14 in this if your looking to grab one. I also discovered I can just about pull off orange lipstick! this statement necklace and Bourjours lipstick have became quite the duo in my wardrobe!
Apologies with lack of posts recently! Uni and blogging don't go so well!

Have a lovely week!

Zara s/s '13 preview

Zara are always the go-to shop for wardrobe staples in my opinion. The quality of their clothes and bags is second to none, and although they always adhere to trends they always seem to make their own waves through statement and unusual pieces. These are some of the garments previewed for s/s '13. From the selection I've picked here, Zara are nailing the monochrome trend down to a t, with a mixture of graphic patterns and textures like the leather trousers on the far right, teamed with a statement neon jumper or accessory you can't go wrong! I'm very much looking to shopping their collection this summer!

What do you think of the Zara s/s '13 preview?
