How to style a two piece : from chavtastic to stylish

Jacket and trousers - Missguided
Backpack - 'Wild at heart' Grafea
T-shirt, hat and shoes - Newlook

Have you spotted that I found an adequate inside location yet? FINALLY. I treated myself to this Grafea back pack from the Oposites attract collection when I got my mini promotion a while back and its been glued to my back ever since... although I'm not sure how long it will stay white for, Its a beauty isn't it?
I brought this two piece from missguided in the sale and when it arrived I was SO intimidated by it I nearly sent it back. By needless to say I think with the right styling jacket and trouser two pieces can look so on trend. If you are thinking about purchasing one, my two main pieces of advice would be to stay clear of wearing them with trainers to avoid the tracksuit look (eeeep!) and use a chunky belt to define you're waist and ensure the trousers look formal. Since styling this up I've really enjoyed it, and I'm looking forward to wearing them separate too!

What pieces have you been trying lately?

Places to visit : Ebb & Flow Southampton

-Above image not my own

It's not often that I review places on itsfashionoclock, so when I do you best believe I've found a jem. I'm currently back in my university town of Southampton, and last night I went out with my friend Luke for a catch up, he took me to my new favourite place : Ebb & Flow. Completely new, Ebb & Flow is a cafe / bar on the highstreet in Southampton. From outside the tiled signage and windows give the impression of just another bar or cafe in Southampton. However, upon entering I was quieter literally speechless. If you have a tendency toward anything shabby chic and abit kitsch Ebb & Flow will be a dream come true. We visited in late evening and the atmosphere of the place was really relaxing. There was a mixture of customers, no rowdy students to be seen! mostly couples or friends enjoying cocktails. The bar is literally fit to burst with detail and I could'nt stop looking around and discovering new pieces of art and decor. The drinks menu is broad and boasts of both soft and alcoholic drinks I have never heard of. The prices were pretty spot on with the rest of the city - I paid £7.95 for a cocktail if I am not mistaken. I was also tempted to try the pear lemonade. Food menu wise Ebb and Flow offers a range of light snacks, breakfasts and tapas style dishes for quick wins when your tired from a busy day of shopping. I had a toasted brie sandwich which was incredible - and even better? my side of chips was served in a tea cup! I really enjoyed the atmosphere and elegance of Ebb & Flow and I hope Marstens consider making more as I really think this could be a hit,
- a must visit if you are in or around Southampton!

Tales from the earth : a life filled with adventure bangle

Tales from the earth - a life filled with adventure bangle £45
A week back the lovely people from Tales of the Earth got in touch with me and asked me if I would like to review one of their bangles. Having never heard of their brand before I accepted and was curious to see what I would receive. I couldn't believe my eyes when the bangle arrived. Gorgeous, luxurious packaging with colours that almost reminded me of Tiffany. However this brand is a little more down to earth, made in England and a brand that's a little less well known and more personal. With Christmas just around the corner I truly believe Tales of the earth have the perfect gift with these little beauties. They truly showcase luxury and thoughtfulness in a simplistic stylish fashion. Each bangle is packaged in its own box and pouch and has a small message about the quoted bangle you have chose. I love that the quote is inside the bangle, out of sight, keeping the message really personal to you. I picked the 'a life filled with adventure' bangle because with all the movement in my job right now, and all my plans for the future I really felt this would be perfect to keep close to me right now. The bangle itself is simplistic and chic, and obviously would be really easy to wear with pretty much any outfit you have in mind. The only thing I would say is the bangle is on the smaller side, so make sure you check the measurements before you order. I've also got my eye on the busy bee necklace now, I've been really pleasantly surprised by this brand and would definitely consider buying from them in the future.
What gifts have you been buying this season?

I have nothing to wear

Jumper, trousers, shoes & hat - Newlook
Heart clutch - H&M
Lips - MAC 'Riri woo'

I have found a type of jumper I can wear! Horray. I'm really suprised how great the quality of these trousers are - I'm hoping to grab these in maroon and grey in the next couple of weeks too. Im trying to change my style just recently, and trousers are something I really want to embrace. I appologise for my hat - again. Its just a thing for me right now, ha. ALSO, any girls who have wider feet at the front - such as myself, these are the only strappy little heels I have found that my feet don't hang out the side of - and that are comfortable! so all around this post is celebrating some newness in my wardrobe haha.
What have you been embracing wardrobe wise lately?

Mary Poppins, Hello and changes

Fedora - H&M kids
Necklace - Rome @ Newlook
Crop top - Cameo Rose
Skirt, socks, shoes, belt - All Newlook

Well hello there again my little space on the interweb *brushes cobwebs from corners of its fashion o'clock* its that time where I would appologise for lack of posts again, but unfortunatley it has come to my attention that I am not a full time paid blogger - I am a paid full time something else and that for the moment is taking priority.
HOWEVER, if you have been pondering where my face has been, some big changes have been happening in my neck of the woods, for one I finished university! I have passed with a 2:1 which I am over the moon about and I graduate in november - cue melt down looking for perfect grad dress - I've also moved back to Kent temorarily and moved in with my nanny :) whos wonderful garden/house you can expect to see floating around in my photographs AND I am currently working full time as a visual merchandiser for Newlook in London Oxford circus store - EEEEE! I'm loving my new position and even the 4am wake up calls are seeming worth it. Its all upwards from here guys!
Anyway.. on the outfit front, I've been trying to pluck up the courage to sport a full a-line midi for a while now, and I found this at work and fell in love, if you have big hips like myself, a-lines are 100% the way forward, this outfit is so comfortable honestly. Expecting to ootd repeat this alot...
How are you all!
