Lichenstein would be proud

Pop art crop top - £3 Primark
Blue midi skirt - £5 Primark
Tredz Wooden t-bar heels - £5 Tredz Sale (Sold out)

Luke and I took these photos a couple of weeks ago and I totally forgot about them! Probably the cheapest full going out outfit I own right now, £13 for the lot isn't bad is it! Thanks to Islay for pointing these barginous shoes out! I love this crop top, all of them are different because of how the fabrics been cut! I had to sift through a few to get a decent print on mine! Now all I need is some money and a social life to wear this out!

What Primark bargains have you found recently?

1 dress, 3 ways to wear

Since the first 'three ways to wear' post was so successful I thought I'd do another this week, this week I'm showing you three ways to wear a statement dress, weather it be neon print like this beaut from H&M or animal print for example. Just because you don't have a night out planned does'nt mean you have to push it to the back of your wardrobe! enjoy...

Dress - £14.99 H&M
Bomber - £19.99 H&M
Bangle - £3.99 H&M
Neon Clutch - £12.99
Long Socks - F&F @ Tescos (Old)
Heels - eBay (Old)

This is probably one of my favorite outfits for a night out right now - and in head to toe H&M! Who would have guessed? Bomber jackets are perfect for light wear on nights out, giving you that extra bit of warmth when you're tottering from pub to club! I love the super flattering pattern and cut of this dress, its fail safe and such a bargain!

Dress - £14.99 H&M
Jumper - £14.99 H&M (Old)
Necklace - £4 Primark
Long Socks - F&F @ Tescos (Old)
Boots - £14.99 Topshop (Old)

If like me the thought of having bare legs out scares the life out of you, chuck on a pair of thigh high socks and push them down so you get some flattering creasing - believe me its warmer and feels alot more comfy than bare legs! Teaming a plain jumper with the dress underneath means no jacket needed in the current weather and in addition? your statement dress has now been transformed into a statement skirt. Team with a neon necklace and hey prestooooo...

Dress - £14.99 H&M
Pleather skirt - £14.99 Asos (Old)
Necklace - £5 Topshop
Tights - F&F @ Tescos (Old)
Cardigan - £11.99 Primark (Old)
Bag – eBay
Watch - £14.99 Asos via eBay
Dolly bow pumps - £11.99 Primark
Boots - £14.99 Topshop (Old)

Fancy adding some colour to your wardrobe but without going the whole way? add a plain skirt over the top and a chunky knit to tone down the bright pattern/colour of the dress, a perfect uni/college outfit.

This is england

Denim jacket - Thrifted, Gap
Tartan sleeveless shirt - £24, Republic Recrafted
Midi skirt - £4.99, eBay
Necklace - £3, Primark
Shoe boots - £32.99, Daisy street

Finally got around to taking some more OOTD's with uni back in full swing its surprisingly hard to fit them in! I love the re-crafted brand we have at Republic right now, Every shirt is different meaning you get a totally unique piece! They also come in long shirt form and we also do jumpers and cardigans - think Urban Outfitters at half the price! I actually wear this alone alot with thick tights as its long enough to wear as a dress - I'll do that another time! My skirt was an absoulete steal too, the quality is fantastic but for £4.99 You can't complain! Luke said I look alot like someone from this is england in this photo - hence the title! although I've never seen it...

I'm currently recovering from a crazy night out, first one since my birthday!
What have you been doing this week?

Day of the dead

P9uw_M on Make A Gif, Animated Gifs

Midi dress - Cameo Rose (Gift)
Gilet - Primark £16
Tights - £3 Tescos
Shoes - £20 Office (Sale)
Cross Earrings - £1 Primark
Black spike bracelets - £1.99 each International
Skull bracelet - £2.99 International
Bird skull ring - £5.99 Republic

My mum got me this dress for Christmas and I adore it. Its great for dressing down with a chunky knit and Dr Martens or more dressed up here with a pair of fierce heels. The busy prints also makes the bodycon fit alot more flattering! So if your wondering weather to delve into the midi trend I'd definitely go for a patterned one. These shoes were also an absolute steal in the office sale, down from £50+ I couldn't say no - and they're wide fit SUPER COMFORT

What did you get for Christmas?

So it looks like the weather has taken a turn for the good again and I couldn't be happier to see the sunshine! I'm travelling back to Southampton today after 6 days at home for my mums 40th - which was brilliant. I brought this maxi dress in the peacocks sale last year and I usually wear it for special ocasion! I love the sparkly neck detail and the way it clinches at the waist! It was a complete steal for £15 and served me well in Ibiza also!

Mini Haul

My student loan came in last week and once I'd paid my halls rent, 2 months’ rent for my new house in advanced and done a big old food shop I decided to treat myself on payday OH and because I happen to have bagged a new job guys! I'm now a sales assistant at Republic, going practically full time over summer! I'm so happy, I've wanted a job in retail for SO long now and words can't express how much I'm looking forward to starting this new job. Southampton had the Westquay student lock in this week so I took advantage of that and then when I received news of my new job myself and Luke went and did a little Primark haul in celebration! I've also made £40 off of Ebay, my motto is sell old clothes to afford new and its working well so well - so money wise I'm doing well right now. Heres my purchases over the last few weeks for you! Apologies for lack of posts I've came down with the flu on top of 3 deadlines! So bare with me :)

These look super dirty because I got hailed on whilst wearing them! :(

Mint Mayhem

As you all probably know student loans dropped into most peoples accounts today! I treated myself to a few items as I'm going out for a meal and drinks soon and I want to feel and look nice. I've seen so much about the colour mint when I saw it dotted around in Primark I had to make it mine! I also picked up a mint stone ring but forgot to photograph it - ooops! - and as for this necklace? I've wanted it for weeks and weeks and finally persuaded myself that £12.99 was worth it today! (These items are alot lighter in person but were difficult to photograph without looking washed out so I contrasted enhanced them a little! I'm sure you get the general idea!)

Highstreet Dupes!

When shopping, as most of you do, I often find highstreet dupes of items and cannot believe my luck in the price difference between a slightly more 'up class' high street brand as appose to the smaller ones. Up until today I never really thought alot of it, and the bargains I've discovered today I thought I'd share - as I know I'll be picking up both these dupes no doubt! Its amazing how one retailer can sell practically the same item for a MUCH higher price!

Photobucket

How crazy is this?
My friend Aimee and I lusted after this River Island shirt for months but i simply could not part with £32 for it.. whilst having a browse through Select I found practically the same shirt for less than half price!

And then again the same issue with a VERY popular Accessorize bag! Although these are fairly difference the similarities are uncanny and on a student budget - who can afford to be picky over such a gorgeous weekender bag!

What are your opinions on highstreet dupes? Do you know of any? I'd love to hear!

Creamy Skulls

Had another chilled out day today, visited my auntie and uncles and had spag bowl with them, I got ready so fast today but snapped these pictures quickly when I got home, excuse my rancid complexion and mirror shot! I really do need to ask people to take photographs of me don't I! Wore my skull scarf which I got from Primark with a black knit jumper from h&m and my flatforms - which are also from H&m.. don't be fooled although they look nice they absoutley kill my feet! I didn't put them in these photos as I couldn't get a good enough photo to do them justice, will do one soon! I don't know if you have noticed I have finally managed to make my photos larger on my posts - is this a feature I should keep? I'm also wearing my favourite lipstick here - MAC's creme cup.. what do you think?

Have you brought any style staples lately? have a lovely day!
